Tourism, Hospitality and Events courses

Study and gain industry experience at one of Australia's most awarded hospitality schools - the Australian College of Applied Education. The Hospitality Industry in Australia has a growing skilled labor shortage that is forecast to reach over 25,000 in 2015.  The Tourism Industry is forecast to grow between 43% and 74% by 2020, providing even more employment opportunities.

Studying for a qualification in the Tourism, Hospitality and Events sector offers fantastic opportunities with 87% of Graduates in employment or further education within 6 months of course commencement.  The School of Tourism and Hotel Management can help you gain the qualifications and industry experience required to fill these positions.

ACAE's curriculum promotes a strong theoretical understanding of the industry balanced with practical learning and industry work placements. During your course you will find yourself taking advantage of their training facilities including; training restaurant and bar, training hotel reception area and a variety of programs and packages used by industry professionals.

As part of your course you will take part in our Industry Work Placement Program giving you first-hand experience.  Your Work Placement gives you the chance to out your theoretical and practical training into practice.  ACAE's Work Placement Coordinator will organize your work placement and keep in contact to track your progress and help you to achieve your goals.

ACAE's Tourism and Hotel Management courses include HospitalityTravel and Tourism and Events which focus on giving you a rounded view of the industry and providing you with the skills and knowledge to become a leader in your field.
