From IT to Patisserie Chef - Make Change Happen

From designing and creating software programs to magnificent pastries, Harry shares his story of change. Watch the video below to hear first hand from Harry.

Harry studied a Certificate IV in Patisserie at TAFE Queensland Brisbane and found a new love in artistic food design, saying that this is only the beginning of his dream job, “Eventually where I want to land is fine patisserie,” he says. Harry says he was also impressed by TAFE Queensland’s focus on ‘doing’, with a more practical focus on education.

“The classroom is in the kitchen, it was a very different experience and is more hands,” he says. Change isn’t a piece of cake for everyone, but finding a new passion through TAFE Queensland can be.
