Qantas names new Dreamliner fleet
More than 60,000 suggestions were put forward and 45,000 votes cast in selecting the names of Qantas' fleet of eight Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners that will fly routes including Perth to London and Melbourne to Los Angeles.

Tourism in Australia continues breaking records
Short-term visitor arrivals during April 2017 (727,600 movements) increased 0.8% compared with March 2017 (722,200 movements). This followed monthly increases of 0.7% in February 2017 and March 2017. The current trend estimate for arrivals is 7.7% higher than in April 2016. During April 2017, short-term visitor arrivals (746,700 movements) increased 4.7% compared with March 2017 (712,900 movements). This followed a monthly increase of 0.2% in February 2017 followed by a monthly decrease of 0.4% in March 2017. There were 701,300 short-term visitor arrivals to Australia in April 2017.
