The Queensland Hotel and Hospitality School is training Queensland's next generation of five and six-star hospitality workers, lifting the quality of the entire industry in South East Queensland.


We are now calling for outstanding applicants to join the school’s flagship program - the International Hospitality Service Program.


Experience working at Brisbane's leading international hotels and convention centres. 

With delivery at TAFE Queensland's South Bank and Gold Coast campuses and partner premises,15_00520_500x500_0008_QHHS the exclusive program is designed to develop frontline food and beverage service skills for work in luxury, five and six-star properties.

The program:

  • is designed in partnership with international hotels and convention centres

  • offers work experience with leading, high-end industry employers including Treasury Casino & Hotel, Jupiters Hotel & Casino, Hilton Brisbane, Sofitel Brisbane Central, Royal International Convention Centre, Hotel Jen Brisbane, NEXT Hotels Brisbane, Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove Resort, Palazzo Versace, and Sea World Resort & Waterpark

  • will develop your skills for work in luxury, five and six-star hotels and restaurants.

Tourism and hospitality is Queensland's second biggest industry, worth a staggering $23 billion and employing more than 241,000 Queenslanders. The Queensland Tourism Industry Council estimates an extra 56,000 employees will be needed to support the industry by 2020.

With recent announcements of exciting major high-end projects, including Queens Wharf in Brisbane and the Jupiters Hotel & Casino redevelopment on the Gold Coast, as well as upcoming major events, such as the Commonwealth Games in 2018, there's never been a better time for graduates to enter the industry.
