Tourism and hospitality is Queensland's second biggest industry, worth a staggering $23 billion and employing more than 241,000 Queenslanders. The Queensland Tourism Industry Council estimates an extra 56,000 employees will be needed to support the industry by 2020.
With recent announcements of exciting major high-end projects, including Queens Wharf in Brisbane and the Jupiters Hotel & Casino redevelopment on the Gold Coast, as well as upcoming major events, such as the Commonwealth Games in 2018, there's never been a better time for graduates to enter the industry.
