Hospitality and Hotel Management

Hospitality is more than just food. If you love working with people and thrive in a fast paced environment, a career in the hospitality industry could offer you not only a great job, but also an exciting lifestyle.

William Angliss Institute is Australia’s largest hospitality training provider, by studying at the Institute, students can gain the skills and knowledge that will allow them entry into a world class restaurant and bar industry, setting them up for supervisory and leadership positions. The Institute’s graduates are highly regarded in industry and have the chance to study in real world environments.

Hospitality careers are diverse and often flexible; graduates might manage their own café or restaurant, become an accommodation or food and beverage manager at an international hotel or a facility manager at a prestigious venue.

Onsite facilities including the Angliss Training Restaurant and Bistro give students the opportunity to train in real life situations, and the Great Chefs Program allows them to work with some of the crème-de-la-crème of Melbourne’s dining scene. Angliss also has strong industry connections giving students opportunities to inspect key hospitality venues, gain volunteer and paid work experience and network with future employers.

The Institute offers hospitality studies from a Certificate III through to degree levels, so you can pick the option that suits you best. If a career in hotel management appeals, Angliss International Hotel School offers a Diploma of Hospitality Management with a specialised hotel management focus.
