The National Indigenous Culinary Institute in partnership with William Angliss Institute has been instrumental in placing its young apprentice chefs in some of the top restaurants in Sydney and Melbourne. Through the Skills for Success program, students gain fundamental skills before commencing a three year on-the-job apprenticeship.
Aboriginal Training Programs at TasTAFE
2016 sees a new way of accessing training with Aboriginal Training Programs, instead of offering a couple of courses specifically for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island People, TasTAFE has negotiated a variety of places in mainstream TasTAFE Courses.
