William Angliss Short Course - Let Them Eat Cake

In this cake making class learn the basics of constructing a moist rich batter cake and a light sponge cake and develop the necessary skills and confidence to reproduce these goods at home.

Discover how to successfully combine and layer flavours to create carrot cake (with a cheesecake and fruit topping) and chocolate sponge cake with chocolate ganache.

This class is predominantly practical with an element of theory to assist in the understanding of the principles of cake making and primarily hands-on with a small element of demonstration (the making of a pound cake and a madeira Cake) to aid practice at home.

On completion of this class you will receive a certificate of attendance.

A light lunch is provided for all class participants. Take home all you produce in class. Please note; enrolments will close 48 hours prior to the class commencement
